Puri

Puri, an important pilgrimage site in India, is also home to the famous Jagannath Temple, one of the Char Dhams in India. There are a number of amazing places to visit in Puri that include architecturally stunning temples, mesmerising beaches and the magnificent Chilika Lake that is visited by hundreds of migratory birds each year. Puri is also famous for its rich art and craft and pattachitra, the oldest art form depicting Gotipua dance form features to be the most widely practised painting format.
