Dehradun

Dehradun, a picturesque city in the state of Uttarakhand, acts as a ‘Counter Magnet’ to the National Capital Region. Positioned in the Doon Valley at the base of the Himalayas, Dehradun is bordered by the rivers Ganga and Yamuna. Acting as a gateway to neighboring cities (such as Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie), Dehradun rests at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. With a milder climate compared to the its nearby hill stations, Dehradun’s agricultural sector is able to take advantage of its fertile soil, abundant rainfall and proper irrigation/ drainage systems.
