Jamshedpur

Call it whatever you want, 'Steel City' or 'Tata Nagar', Jamshedpur is a popular tourist destination in Jharkhand. This well-planned industrial city was established by the late Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata. Jubilee Park, Hudco Lake, Tata Steel Zoological Park, Dalma Hills and Pardih Kali Mandir are tourists attractions here. Jamshedpur was presented with the Global Compact City award in 2004 by the United Nations recognising it as being one of the fastest developing cities in the world.
