Wilson Point is a landmark and the highest point in Mahabaleshwar at 1439 meters. It was named after Sir Leslie Wilson, who was the governor of Bombay from 1923 to 1926. It was also known as the Sindola Hill during the colonial rule. “The room condition was bad... the a/c in the room was in one corner and therefore it was not cooling the room... the fan was not rotating horizontally... the flush in the toilet was not working properlty... the flush nob has fallen apart when we tried to use it...“

Wilson point is best at the early mornings of the day. It is perfect for a sunrise view, and makes for some beautiful views. It is pretty even during the rest of the day, but worth it most at sunrise.
