Kothrud is a locality in the western suburb of the cultural city of Pune and has its importance for it was where the first flyover in the city, Savarkar Flyover at Paud Phata came up. Being at the heart of an industrialized city, Kothrud is one of those areas shooting high up in terms of infrastructural development and real estate value. Being a prominent residential arena, it was known as Kothrud Baag during the reign of Peshwas. Being a well-connected area, Kothrud is one of the fastest developing suburbs of Asia. With a population of over 3 Lakhs, Kothrud is famous for housing some of the most reputed educational institutes in the city. Located at a distance of 15.8kms from Pune Airport and 11kms from Pune Railway Station, it is the western suburb of the city of Pune.Pune is one of those major Indian cities shooting up to the peak of development each passing day.Innumerable numbers of people flow into the city in a hunt for something every day. For this very reason, there are promising qualities and quantities of hotels in Kothrud Pune. Ranging from basic accommodation to star-studded luxurious hotels, remarkable facilities and unmatchable service is a norm. If confused about where and what to choose, hotels near Kothrud Pune by Treebo never fails to disappoint. Food Palette, Bay Leaf, Maratha Samrat Restaurant, Tiranga’s Non Veg, Wood Fire Grill and Oyster Restaurant are few of the eateries in Pune near Kothrud that promise appetizing food treats.Kothrud being an easily accessible locale in Pune sure is to open doors to the wonders of the city. A fast developing economy, Pune also is a paradise for those who seek culture and heritage in its true essence.Few of the landmarks in Kothrud that are still standing tall include Dashabhuja temple and the Mrityunjaya temple tracing its erection back to the Peshwa times. Kothrud is where Bajirao Peshwa's second wife Mastani used to stay. Sinhagad, Agha Khan Palace and Shaniwar Wada are few of those places that shouldn’t be missed when in the cultural city of Pune.

“Accommodation and boarding were Excellent !!!
But, on the day of check-in (25.09.2019) at 6:00 PM, I got a message from Treebo that my booking was cancelled, despite my confirmation that I will be checking in from 7:00PM to 8:00PM on that day. This has caused me great confusion and frustration, sin“ ce I was visiting Pune for the first time and new to the place.
This may kindly be avoided in future.
