A very popular market in Udaipur Rajasthan, Chandpole is a hub of handicrafts. Udaipur was once surrounded by the City Wall of Udaipur, otherwise called Parkota in Hindi. There were seven entry gates, one of which is Chandpole Darvaja or Chandpole Gate. It now is a large market in the city that has a humongous collection of handicrafts carved in marble, stone, wood and other handlooms. Chandpole is an ideal location if a breath of aesthetic Rajasthani air is in mind. Situated in a very well accessible area near old Udaipur, Chandpole also is an exhibition ground for the artisans of Rajasthan. It is at a distance of 24.3kms from Udaipur Airport and 4.5kms from Udaipur Railway station.Being one of the most popular traditional shopping markets, Chandpole is a very major locale and hence there are a number of hotels near Chandpole Udaipur. These hotels being in a well-connected center of Udaipur is often observed to be very well maintained and provides modern amenities, dependable service and amiable staff. Treebo also has hotels in Chandpole Udaipur. The hotels are sure to make the Udaipur experience even more promising and stamped in memory. If authentic Rajasthani cuisine is in mind so that Udaipur experience is complete , Traditional Khana Restaurant, Restaurant Ambre, Flames Restaurant and Bar and Mi Corazon are few of the names to mention. The very famous market of Chandpole displays and sells flamboyant foot wears, handicrafts, wooden and stone sculptures, gaudy carpets, traditional turbans and other curios. Strolling through the market is a mesmerizing experience and clearly explains the reason why Udaipur is considered to be one of the most preferred destinations of handicraft shopping. Other places to tick in the list when in Udaipur are Pichola Lake, Jag Mandir, Sajjangarh Fort, Gulab Bagh and City Palace. Udaipur definitely is an astonishing location that cannot be forgotten if once visited.
“The overall experience we had with treebo was great. The staff coordinated with us before our arrival and the stay was comfortable.
If you are looking for a fine budget stay hotel it is highly recommended.“
“One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Spacious, neat, and tidy rooms; the property is just 2.5 years old and the interior is at par with 5 star hotels.
Staff is very punctual and courteous. Plenty of parking available.
The buffet breakfast served at their restaurant is of great value. The fo“ od from their restaurant is delicious and yummy. We tried Palak Paneer, French Fries, Dal Tadka, Corn Cheese Pizza, Veg Pulao, and many more dishes. So many varieties of dishes to choose from. The hotel is hardly 250 metres from Udaipur Railway Station. Reception staff makes the check-in process smooth. Room services are pretty good.
Pictures shown and Room description given on their website as well as on third party websites, such as booking.com, match the Room totally.
Highly recommended 👌
Opulence Inn would be my first choice on my visits to Udaipur in future.
“we stayed here for a day during our Udaipur trip. these guys were very generous to extend any hep you need. hotel location is perfect. hygiene level of the hotel , rooms , washrooms is top notch. bedsheets were clean and bed was comfy. whatever we ordered for in room dining was delivered in no time.“ breakfast was good. all in all it was a great experience guys. would love to come back and stay with you guys.
“We stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are nice and clean. But big disappointment was the breakfast and hotel restaurant timings. The breakfast had no variety at all. On three continuous days Poha was there on buffet (one day no buffet was there).Only two hot dishes on buffet everyday. only banana w“ as served as fruit. Last day watermelon was there but that too got finished before we could have it. Needs big improvement in this regard. It is fine when someone is staying for a day. Restaurant timings was also not customer friendly. 9.30pm was the last order timing for dinner which is too early. After a days tour one wants to relax and have the dinner at leisure. Lunch timings were also kept very short. 10.30 am is the check out time and I requested for a late check out till 12 which is only 1 and half hour extra for which the staff at the reception denied. That too when the entire hotel was empty. If it's on full occupancy one can understand but saying no when the hotel is empty does not make any sense. However they allowed late check out later. Only 2 small bottles of water provided everyday which should have been at least 3 one liter bottles everyday considering the hot weather in Udaipur. It does not cost a fortune to buy additional 2 bottles of water but it does give you the sense of care. No toiletries were there in the bathroom. When asked 2 mini soaps(can only be used for washing hands) and 1 rupee shampoo was provided. Small things but they add value to overall experience.
“We stayed there for 3 nights. Hotel room was very tidy, clean. Ambience & fragrance of the room was good. Washroom was clean. Buffet breakfast was good and hygenic. Staff was very supportive and cooperative. Pantry Manager Mr. Ratan Singh takes care of smallest things during breakfast.
Awesome S“ tay !
“The property is newly built..the rooms are spacious with all amenities in place ...staff is very friendly and cooperative. the buffet breakfast is a treat to have and the overall food quality is also excellent...“
