Not at all good
“First of all the hotel has no parking and on the day we arrived the road to the hotel was closed due to some local festival & the hotel knew that and did not even cared to inform us. We had to walk to the hotel. Room service is poor & took almost 40-45 minutes for getting water to the rooms.“ The hotel did not clean the room itself, we have to ask to get our room cleaned when we returned to the hotel at 5 in the evening. Staff was not very helpful. You need to improve a lot. Location is good but parking is a problem.

Service Beyond expectation
“The hotel was very clean and beautiful with great lake view. The restaurant and food was good again with beautiful lake view. What makes this stay special for us was their hospitality. They were great hosts, flexible with our requirements and helping us even after checking out of their hotel. Defini“ tely recommend to anyone visiting Udaipur

A great place to be
“It's in the middle of everything! Much happening place and walkable distance to almost all tourist attractions, it has comfortable cozy rooms and good view from the roof top resto, though break fast menu was very limited and they don't have room service“

“Stayed with family for 3 nights. 2 young kids (aged 7 and 9), wife and myself.
Spacious rooms, quite clean and a great 5th floor restaurant with 360 degree view of Udaipur. Attitude of staff is good. Many tourist locations (lake pichola, Bagore ki haveli, Jagdish temple and City Palace) and many goo“ d eateries are within walking distance (200- 400 metres). Overall a good experience.
I am reading quite a few negative reviews here. It appears they relate to old trips. The hotel has been renovated in early 2017 and this reflects in its current offering.

Value For Money - Though not excellent
“We booked 3 Rooms . All rooms were spacious. It could easily accomodate 4 people. Out of 3 rooms one room was not clean . The flooring and wall paintings were not upto the mark. Also find the flooring in all rooms as cement floor which I never expected in Udaipur and it was dirty . There was no car“ pet covering the full flooring inside the room. A small carpet covering a small area was there .Soap, shampoo , mineral water bottle was not there .After asking they provided it. There was no hot water by 7.30 AM also. Again it was switched on after our request On a whole it is recommended if you are looking for a bigger rooms .No one knew English in the restaurant area which is really a disadvantage .

Excellent Service, Huge Room, Nice Views, Calm Neighbourhood - Perfect place for freedom from disturbance
“Huge Room, Clean & well maintained place, Lake view from 2 restaurants and also from room balconies.Location: besides Swaroop lake but bit distant from City Palace. Autos and Cabs are available but overall Auto (even Ola and Jugnoo) people are rude in Udaipur so one has to be careful while deali“ ng with them. Cabs are no problem as Ola and Uber both are available.Rooms: Large. Stayed at Mahogany room. Abundant space to place luggage, wardrobe, work desk and can hangout indoor with comfortable coffee table set, recliners in balcony and large TV. Lighting needs to be improved otherwise best rooms. Bed is huge and very much comfortable.Bathroom: Huge and well maintained.Staff: Very good staff, always ready to help and assist with any query and requirements. Limited staff but efficient.Service: Prompt services. Also helps in arranging siteseeing from third-party as per your requirement. Assists in planning your day with places to visit and attractions. We appreciate their restaurant service for serving food in non-operating hours.Restaurant: Very good. I guess they have more tables in restaurant then number of rooms in hotel! You can enjoy your meal either sitting inside AC restaurant or outside with lake view. There is also another restaurant on rooftop but it's on lease to another vendor, however guests can visit that restaurant as well. Limited dishes but food quality is good. No Non-veg and limited local dishes were bit disappointments. They have an excellent Coffee Bar in a separate space.Outdoor: Small but well maintained garden. There is no swimming pool.Only missed things during the stay were Spa and Non-veg food.

Worst experience at Treebo!!
“First, must mention it was cheap, at approx. 900/- per room per night, I thought it was a great deal! But I guess we got what we paid for!!Do not go with family, I had a small baby and my 74-year old mother.. bad idea to stay here!Day 1 - power kept going off. They could not start the generator. Wor“ se, Nobody informed us what was happening!!! We had gone to the terrace restaurant for lunch, then were stuck there for 30 mins!!! Nobody even bothered to come and explain - zero courtesy!!!Day 2 - early morning - went to the bathroom, No Water!!! Called the reception number of times, Nobody Picked the phone!!!! Called the property manager, she said she will call somebody, then After Waiting For 15-20 minutes more, water started trickling from the taps!!! Later I was told somebody had left the taps open in the night and the water got over - but Hello.. is that good enough reason to Inconvenience Your Guests??? What are the hotel staff Doing??? Counting stars??? Why Are They Not Aware that there is No Water in the taps????Day 3 - while rushing for checkout - I was asked to pay 400+/- for room service... since I had to rush for the airport, I paid without thinking much, forgot to take the bill. Later in the cab, was told by my wife that she had paid all the room bills!!! So, they Happily Doublecharged me for what was paid already!!!Another problem: Unhygienic/ Unclean: cockroaches all over the room!!! Found one on Day 3 morning on the wall next to the headboard of the bed!!! Worst place I have ever stayed!!! Only Benefit? Location. It is just 5 minutes away from the entrance to City Palace. But Just For Location benefits, will you stay with All The Inconveniences??? I Will Never Again Stay! Choose wisely.

Superb Budget Hotel
“One of the best hotels in Udaipur. The rooms have AC and are big. Very well maintained, neat and tidy. They have quite big attached bathroom. The hotel provides tea maker in the room. You get homely breakfast (Alu Paratha, Pohe, bread omelette, sometimes accompanied by fruits). The breakfast in“ simply delicious, mouth watering. The other advantages are its proximity to the city palace (just 3 kms from City Palace), there is an auto and taxi stand right in front on the property, hence it makes traveling very easy. The hotel is located on City Palace Road, which is enough to tell the auto or taxi and they take you there without any question.

Superb location.. peaceful stay..
“The overall experience was superb.. the cleanliness aspect was marred by the fact that the recliners on the balcony were covered with dust.. when u know guests are coming, you ought to do a little bit more.. its d little bit more that makes the difference between good and excellent.. anyway, the loc“ ation was superb.. the politeness and quickness of staff was overwhelming..

Our stay at Hotel Treebo Udai Niwas
“All and all very good experience. Room was spacious and clean, but view from room not good. Food was tasty and delivered very fast. Staff were also good in behaviour. Location is good, very near from city palace, jagdish Temple, lake and local market. You just reach there by walking and talking.“

“Near to many tourist attraction. Rooms are OK. The night view from balcony is good. Couldn't see any menu card in the room hence I am not sure if room service is there. Anyways I never even asked for it. The best advantage is closeness to most of the tourist attraction although the hotel itself “ is in a bit narrow road hence sometimes you don't get taxis from the hotel itself but a short walk takes you to jagdish temple and you have plenty of options to commute from there. Rooftop restaurant is the main highlight. The view from there is breathtaking. Overall satisfied with my stay.

Hotel or Backpackers?
“Lovely people running Treebo but accommodation inadequate for the cost! Nowhere to hang clothes, nor a chest of drawers. Very poor WiFi. The room was not cleaned, the bed was not made up.
However the food on the rooftop restaurant was very good.
No glass in windows, only shutters so extremely noi“ sy at night.

Decent stay at Brahma Niwas. Dirty Dining Hall (Brahma Kamal)
“I am giving a 3 star rating only because the hotel is at a good location and the rooms are huge. The view from my room (321) was great. But I was forced to stay for a night in 222 (super isolated, view less corner room with a dirty dusty balcony) on the first night (i stayed for 4 nights at Brahma N“ iwas). Property needs to be maintained better. Its too expensive, considering the fact that the entire ground floor is under maintenance. The top floor dining area is extremely dirty and the dinning hall on 3rd floor (Brahma Kamal) is pigeon infested. They do not clean the sit-out areas of their dining spaces. Also, the property serves only veg food. Breakfast menu and overall food menu is super duper boring. They don't even have noodle soup, let alone something exotic. Indian breakfast is still decent as they serve only upma/parathas/poha alternatively. But in the name of continental they serve only cornflakes and bread toast every day of the week. Not even eggs. Staying at this property will be a fun experience if you are with your friends/family and have a planned itinerary. Service is damn slow. Water is served to guests in jugs on requesting multiple times. They room service does not pick up calls post 10 pm.

Short Business Trip
1. Upgrade the quality of towels and basic necessities in bathroom
2. Breakfast quality needs to be improved drastically. Cut fruits lying there were uncovered. Breakfast was cold.
3. I was not given a copy of my invoice on check out where as I had cleared mentioned the same at th“ e time of check in.
Good part: Rooms are quite spacious with balconies. Every room has a different interior. Staff at the reception was quite warm and friendly.

Not Recommend At All
“I had a booking of single room for 3 persons. In the room they have a double bed which is very old. Whenever u sit on bed there is loud cracking noise which is very irritating. And if u book a room for three they will make the 3rd person sleep on the floor. Couch is small so u can not even use that.“ Towels were old and hard. Only good thing is restaurant Vairo on terrace which u can visit without booking a room in this property. So plz consider other options not this one. Thanks

Not fit to be a Tree Bo hotel
“Does not have it's own restaurant. On the web site the photo of the roof top restaurant is an out sourced one. So the B/Fast is served in the room. Donot have staff to provide service. It's done thru temp staff, who are a bit iffy. If U are with a family ,well, should avoid.“
