About Yelagiri

A small hill-station located in Tamil Nadu, Yelagiri is a trekker’s paradise as it stands gloriously amidst four mountains. This small hill-station dates back to the colonial days, however development has been slow here and it remains less developed than Tamil Nadu’s other more famous hill-stations, Kodaikanal and Ooty. Yelagiri is made up of 14 small villages and the main occupations taken up by the tribes of this town are agriculture, horticulture, and forestry. On a visit to Yelagiri, one will also notice the unique habits of the culture and customs of the folks, which spreads to even the manner in how their houses are constructed. All of these add to the charm of this picturesque hill-station.

Well maintained properties to stay
“The property is well maintained and is a good suit for families. Staffs are very much approachable. They don't have their own restaurant to dine-in, but they have a menu to order and they'll deliver to your room. No complaints with the food. Breakfast was amazing. Loved the location and ambi“ ence. Attractions are at drivable distance, could reach within 10 mins. Overall it was a very good stay and would definitely recommend.

Pleasant people managing a great place to relax and rejuvenate
“Big spacious row houses provides combination of home like privacy and resort atmosphere. The places is 3/4 km away from the main town center and you need to travel 3-4 kms for anything . But I prefer this because it provides a calm surrounding away from crowded , bustling area suitable for relaxat“ ion. In my opinion, you will enjoy the resort completely only If your objective is to spend more time in the resort and not cram sightseeing. Also, the people managing the property are very friendly and accommodative. The only picking point is the condition of the approach road, 10-20 m before the resort. The road is a mud road and it would be bit tricky if it rains. They should put some gravels so that is easier to drive .
