Nice hotel for a quick trip
“Located in the mid city, this hotel is ideal for a quick stop or for business purposes. It is closer to Srikrishna temple, less than 10 mins walk; lot of restaurants option to eat. Avoidable for leisure traveling. It doesn't have it's own restaurant which is a minus for families with small children.“ Wi-Fi connection wasn't good. Room size is compact and so is the property; doesn't give you a sense of comfort. Rooms are clean, hot water available across 24hrs, AC works super good.

Treebo Vijaya Grand Udupi Karnataka India
“Had booked two rooms. Stayed for one night with family. Hotel is fairly new. Location is easily accessible. Covered parking available. Room and Bathroom are clean and fresh. Bed and linen comfortable. The central Aircon had some issues with the digital remote control.Need to address the issue with “ a back up ceiling fan. Breakfast served in the room as dining hall is not yet ready. The dish though tasty was served cold. Overall a good stay with no major issues

Recent Udupi trip

Stay in June 2018
“The process of providing complimentary breakfast is very cumbersome. As they don't have a kitchen, everything (even plain milk, coffee & tea) is brought from outside and served. This is a huge dependency for a hotel which has 30 rooms. The lead time in getting things delivered is too high. Also no o“ rders are accepted before 7:45 or 8 AM. My suggestion to the hotel is to remove the option of complimentary breakfast and reduce the price, which would be a better selling point.

Not a great hotel
“Receptionist was asking unnecessary details like how much I paid online for booking and also asking the ID proof of all the family members even though the primary booking person ID is enough. Rooms were very small and breakfast was average and not much options. They don't have restaurant and the b“ reakfast was served to room in small cups. Rooms were clean and the toilets were well maintained. Bed size was small and if you are taking small kids then not recommended. Overall, this hotel rooms are not worth for the price they quote.

Questions & Answers About Udupi Hotels

Question

I will reach Udupi early morning. Do you allow check in before the standard time?

Asked by Pallavi, 12-02-2018

Answer

As much as we'd like to, we cannot guarantee an early check-in. However, we will certainly try to offer you an early check-in (free of charge) from 10 am to 12 pm as long as we do not have other guests already staying in the booked room. In such cases, complimentary breakfast will not be served on the day of check-in. "
