About Rishikesh Badrinath Road Rishikesh

HOTELS IN RISHIKESH NEAR RISHIKESH BADRINATH ROAD

The towering mountains that greet the eyes of a traveller along the Rishikesh-Badrinath Road on NH7 are guaranteed to take their breath away. But a look down, where you can see tumultuous river bouncing through rocky patches from a breath-taking distance, will also most certainly give you the chills. Despite this dangerous landscape, the road to the holy city of Badrinath, located almost 11,000 feet above sea level, is much traversed. Hundreds of people travel to Badrinath via this road for darshans, particularly in the summer when the climate is much more agreeable. There are regular buses from Rishikesh Bus Station to Badrinath, but transportation is closed after sunset. There are comfortable hotels near Rishikesh Badri Road less than 2km away, offering all essential comforts such as large rooms that can accommodate up to four guests, geyser, cupboards, coffee table and attached balcony. Some hotels in Rishikesh Badri Road have yoga halls and attached spas, which is unsurprising as Rishikesh is called the ‘yoga capital of the world’. For user reviews, go to travel websites like Treebo that provide details about the rooms, including pictures. Since good rooms may be in high demand, it is wiser to book early. The part of Badrinath Road close to Rishikesh is lined with several eateries, ranging from Cafe Coffee Day and Madras Cafe to the Machaan Restaurant, Bistro Nirvana and Green Italian Restaurant.Similarly, there are more options for sightseeing near Rishikesh city, including the renowned Triveni Ghat, Marine Drive, Neer Garh Waterfall, Rajaji National Park and Garud Chatti Waterfall. However, there are also some interesting points further along the Badrinath Road, mainly the Vasishta Cave Ashram and Ancient Siva Cave Temple. Scores of temples and ashrams can be found along the road, such as Badrinath Temple and Bhootnath Temple. Another regular sight on this route is adventure companies that offer customers exciting opportunities for rafting, camping, hiking and bungee jumping, among other things. The Ganga Beach is another wonderful spot suitable for meditation and picnic.

Great stay
“Property was good, staff were cordial and helpful. Location is quite scenic. Enjoyed our stay. Food was good in the restaurant. Feedback to management would be to dim the lights in the corridor at nights as the room curtains overlooking the corridor do not fully filter out light“

location is good, power failure is an issue.
“located on badrinath road near tapovan police substation. laksmanjhula is around 1 km down the hill from here. parking area is small and remains conjested. The rooms are good, food is okey , like average. Staff and people are polite though.Consistent power failure is an issue. 3 cash points nearby.“

I recommend lily
“It's a good hotel to stay.. Staff is nice, accessible location, neat and clean rooms. They have to work on their food a bit, food was not bad but it can be more better. Breakfast timing must be from 8-11 instead of 8-10 and they must allow us to take our breakfast into our rooms.. Thank you“

Average experience...
“Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Lily in rishikesh for one night on our trip back from Himalayas to Delhi. It took us quite a few hours to book this hotel on the phone and then via the app. Very slow service. Once we reached rishikesh we also needed to wait extra time to get our booking confirmed an“ d about 40 minutes to finally get into our room.Even though it is located in a very central area of rishikesh, where you can reach the Lakhsman Jhula in 10 minutes walk, and many places to eat and refresh, the hotel that claims a western comfort is really not how I expected. We were given a room which had several problems: the WiFi didn’t work, the toilet had a flush problem and we waited forever before being moved to a different room for the price we had payed. It was a 2000 rupees room (£24), which, in India, is quite a lot of money as well as in rishikesh, if you consider that you can easily find solutions for less than a 1000.Our final room was spacious enough and clean. It also had a balcony, but the toilet was terrible. You had to wait 10 minutes Woth water flowing and going to waste, before getting hot water and the toilet smelled really bad when the fan was on. The water pressure was poor and surely it wasn’t a relaxing shower. The smell was coming from outside, or something was wrong with the fan. You really couldn’t be in the toilet with that smell. The hotel was incredibly noisy in the morning. Slamming door, noisy customers who hadn’t apparently been told that they needed to stay silent in respect of other customers. Really an average structure. Better than an ashram in terms of facilities, but I would be in an ashram for the peace than going back here.It was a shame because I had picked it among hundreds of other hotels on the Internet and I definetly had other expectations.
