BEST FAMILY HOTELS IN MUMBAI

Mumbai, the capital city of the state of Maharashtra, is widely considered the place where dreams often come true for many. It is a melting pot of cultures and religions. People of various ethnic origins, communities and caste co-exist happily within the city of Mumbai. It is a city where you can find the richest in the country, as well as the poorest. Astonishing paradoxes and simple joys majorly constitute the essence of Mumbai. The interesting dynamic between Mumbaikars (the other name for the residents of the city) and the rest of India is one that’s well worth exploring. Some of the best hotels in Mumbai for family are located well within city limits and offer amenities considering the family as a whole. Even budget family hotels in Mumbai provide a dedicated recreational center (with indoor and outdoor games, apart from balloon beds), restaurants that are kid-friendly, toddler-specific provisions (such as child-size cots), a separate section in the menu for kids, and complimentary meals for children below a particular age. There are quite a number of hotels in Mumbai with family rooms catering to the travel needs of families. Certain luxury family hotels even come with a swimming pool for kids (with swimming coaches constantly on the watch), arrange family-related events and freebies for children to keep them occupied throughout the day. When in Mumbai, make sure visits are scheduled to the iconic Gateway of India, the island tomb Haji Ali Dargah, the family-friendly amusement park EsselWorld, the ancient Kanheri caves, the Siddhivinayak Temple (with a gold-plated roof) dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the vintage Maratha Mandir movie theater and the ornately carved Elephanta caves. When it comes to eating out, the elegant decorated Peshawri, the seafood specialist Mahesh Lunch Home, and the luxuriously chic By the Mekong are your best bets. Shop away at malls such as High Street Phoenix, R City, and Phoenix Marketcity.

Comfortable but..
“Room was comfortable & spacious but please look into cleanliness. I was surprised to find the dirty glass and the electric kettle with tea leaves stick to it at bottom. Looked like nobody ever cleaned it.“

Excellent quality of stay at sensible prices
“One of the better properties I've stayed at during my travels. Great value for money, good location (atleast for me) and well connected to Malad station as well as the Western express highway. Its situated amidst a bustling locality and has good restaurants around one can order from if you got b“ ored of their own in-house restaurant food which is quite nice. They have a chaat, street sandwich place which opens at 4 in the evening and is great to try out some local street food as well. The rooms are nice and spacious and so are the bathrooms which is quite unlike most small hotels in Mumbai. The room I had taken was given two separate beds and was well maintained and matched my expectations for the kind of money I spent. They also are extremely courteous people and know their way around managing their customers well. Their breakfast (included in my room stay) was nice and simple and had quite a few options including south India, local maharashtrian and continental cuisines.
