FAMILY HOTELS IN GOA

Lying along the Konkan coast, Goa is a city that’s famous for its serene beaches, flamboyant music festivals, beautiful churches, well-maintained plantations, and of course lip-smacking cuisine. While tourist activity is mostly concentrated towards the northern side of the city, the southern stretch is comparatively quieter and perfect for the tranquil-seeking. Since Goa used to be a Portuguese-occupied colony for a long period (about 450 years), the culture of the city is a blend of Western and Eastern styles with the former being slightly more dominant. Festivals like Christmas, Easter, Diwali, Dasara are celebrated with great enthusiasm in Goa. The Annual Goan Carnival is based on the Western tradition of Mardi Gras which celebrates the cuisine and culture of Goa on a massive scale. Goa is reachable by roads (NH 66, NH-4A, NH-566 and NH-768), rail (Madgaon and Vasco Da Gama railway stations) and air (Goa International Airport). With plenty of families visiting the city year after year, a number of family hotels in Goa have popped up to take advantage of the same. Treebo’s portfolio in Goa currently stands at 11 properties that have been rated excellent by guests. By choosing to stay at Treebo, you are, by all means, booking some of the best family rooms in Goa. Catering mainly to the ‘family’ niche of travelers, the amenities provided by family hotels include a games room (where children can play indoor and outdoor games), restaurants that offer kid-sized meals and boast kid-friendly ambiances besides providing meals-on-the-house for children below a certain age, and in-room furnishing of cot/cradle for infants. At some luxury family hotels, you can also find swimming pools with a separate shallow area for the kids. They even arrange events and activities considering the whole family.Your Goa trip with family is incomplete without spending time at places like Dudhsagar Falls which boasts milky streams, Fort Aguada a Portuguese fort with a lighthouse at one end, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary an almost parklike zoo with plenty of fauna and flora, Tropical Spice Plantation which conducts guided tours along with a buffet lunch, and Old Goa for its museums and churches. Family-friendly dining spots in Goa include Vinayak Family Restaurant, Bhatti Village Family Bar and Restaurant, Little World, Pousada by the Beach, and Go With The Flow.

Rude Behavior from kitchen staff
“The kitchen staff has very rude and strange behavior throughout . When we went at the restaurant for having breakfast , they were very reluctant to serve the basic and simple things . Not sure why . Like for e.g. , they had kept breads along with butter So i requested them to grill the bread for me.“ But i got a reply that Day 1) Sir bohot time lagega , i asked how much ? , i got the answer : at least 15-20 mins . i mean really ? for a bread to grill , will it take 15-20 mins? Thankfully , there was one guy who provided us the same within 2 mins... Day 2) Sir , the toaster is not working... , we didn't get the breads toasted that day... And the look they keep on their face...my god...it was like we are eating for free there... so , though the ambiance and all other facilities are good...the kitchen staff behavior did disappointed us a lot...
