A holy city in the state of Uttarakhand that rests at the base of the Himalayas, Rishikesh has the Ganges River flowing right next to it. Known as the ‘Gateway of the Garhwal Himalayas’, Rishikesh lies about 25 km away from the city of Haridwar (with which, it has been given the tag of ‘twin national heritage cities’). Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly banned in the city due to its religious noteworthiness. Rishikesh boasts an altitude of 1,220 feet above sea level, the climate here remains moderately pleasant for a good part of the year. Rishikesh is famous for being the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’ with several yoga centers operational in the city. There’s a popular belief that meditating in Rishikesh can lead to ‘moksha’ or spiritual liberation. Numeorus centers offering ayurvedic treatment can also be found in Rishikesh. The Rishikesh railway station connects the city to other major points in the country.Being a pilgrim spot, there quite a few budget hotels in Rishikesh offering basic lodging facilities to those travelers who are extremely budget-conscious. The Treebo properties here are amongst some of the best budget hotels in Rishikesh. Catering to that niche of tourists who seek very basic food and accommodation amenities, budget hotels are found to lack fancy furnishings, lobbies or in-house restaurants. They may, however, offer food and beverages pertaining to a limited menu on a complimentary basis. They obviously charge lower tariffs to guests as the facilities provided are minimal/basic.Your Rishikesh itinerary must certainly include visits to Rajaji National Park a wildlife reserve with cozy cottages for visitors, Lakshman Jhula an iron bridge built across the Ganges, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple a temple set against beautiful Himalayan backdrops, Parmarth Niketan an ashram on the Ganges river bank, and Triveni Ghat a spiritual site located on the riverfront. Budget-friendly dining places in Rishikesh include Flavors, Madras Cafe, Royal Cafe, Chotiwala, Free Spirit Cafe, Ayurpak and Rudraa Cafe.

“I would like to share my feedback as per the team work generated by rajesh negi who is designated as a tpm in this property he was the first person who helped me a lot from my checkin point to checkout. I travelled from very far with my family and friend family even with the kids along and was very “ tired and booked the resort of treebo but at the point of my destination i got to know that my bookings was mistakenly ported to hotel. so on that scenerio rajesh negi helped me to shift the booking to resort. it took time but still he made it which was really a part of our joyfull stay.even i found that he was very carey about my child as well after that i saw his staffs and the owner of hotel mr. Sohan kumar was also very helpful. they carry out our entire luggage by scooters to the resort which was almost 150 meter far from hotel. i was keep on touch with rajesh who helped me in getting reservation for spa facility, swimming facility as well and spacially the food quality, room quality, amenities, cleanliness, services and the sorounding was awesome.in one word i would explain that if there is any option of giving some good number to mantain this type of hospitality by treebo team i would give rajesh negi and his team100/100 for his cooperation with the guest who comes from very far to travel in a uknown place on a faith of the locality. Thanks treebo and the lily hotel, the lily resort team. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE BOOKING.
“very nice villas with lot of space, neat rooms and great food. breakfast is little disappointing, need to have little more variety of food. Receptionist shiv has take good care of us. overall enjoyed my stay.“
Good experience with respect to stay and hospitality
“Good experience with respect to stay and hospitality. The only need to focus more on breakfast, as it is too average and won't leave you happy. Else, the rooms are large enough and clean, with necessary amenities provided. This was my second stay with Treebo in a different city, and it was the s“ ame.
