Moral policing has always been a huge deal in India and most people here have problems with couples. A couple holding hands in public or go on a vacation together is very often frowned upon and I think I can very safely say, we’ve all been in a situation where you would just hang out with a friend from the opposite sex and someone somewhere will give you that judgy look.<\/p>\n

Booking a hotel happens to become an unnecessary nightmare for unmarried couples or just friends looking to go on a vacation. Since then though, many hotel chains like StayUncle and Oyo decided to allow unmarried couples to stay together and now, Treebo has joined the club.<\/p>\n

After an analysis of our performance and studying the information collected from feedback forms and customer calls, we’ve noticed a growing need for couple-friendly rooms. Most often, guests aren’t aware of our hotel policies and this often leads to awkward situations where a number of unmarried couples are denied rooms after they’ve booked them.<\/p>\n
